@Sarp Ka, it is great to hear that you have thoughts about investing outside of your local area. As for the Austin TX market, many investors invest for appreciation or perform quick flips. As for big cash flowing properties, most of those are with apartments. Short-term rentals are hit in the Austin area. I invest in Buy & Hold rental properties within Central Texas which is about 45-60 minutes north of Austin. Best of luck with your investments!

@Todd Kozak, sorry that your tenants are enduring such disturbances. After working in the Student Housing industry for several years, I would say that loud sex, during all hours of the day, has been the number one compliant. I would review your city's noise ordinances. Of course, if there are screams of help during such activity, a call to local enforcement will have them investigating the situation asap.

As for the changing of car license plates, that certainly seems like possible drug activity or vehicle fraud.

Hi Megan,

That's a great question! I believe the pricing will be provided during the registration period, which opens July 6th.

At this time, it appears that the only pricing available is for discounted room accommodations at the Sheraton Hotel, which is the conference venue.
