I am in Colorado Springs, CO and I am currently working on getting my RE license, but I want to focus on investing professionally. I am browsing for jobs and I have seen a couple of ads for real estate investing jobs with a larger company. They describe it as being some sort of education program you go through and then go out and invest in real estate. My question is, what are the benefits of working through a bigger investing company vs. working for yourself. Are these positions a bit of a sham or is it just a security blanket for new investors? One of the companies is www.reieducation.us

Colin - Thank you so much for the response! I have not gotten fingerprints done yet and I do not have a brokerage chosen yet. I would love to sit down and talk more about this. I did choose a class to take which I am starting online next week.

I am in Colorado Springs and I am going to get my RE license. I have found a lot of different options online, but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for the best bang for my buck. I have a full time job and I don’t have a whole lot of free time. I’m not sure whether to do online or in class and who to go through. Any advice would be much appreciated!
