@Dave Foster

Wow! Thank you so much for the info Dave! I really appreciate that. How did you get so much information on the subject? Are you an investor too?

We are working on a deal that we could put this to work on!

Our first buy and hold.

We are so excited to be in this business! The future is looking bright!

@Todd Powell

Hey thanks Todd! Looks like we both learned something here.

Are you a member of the OREIA?

Do you attend the local pizza joint meetings?

I've been meaning to come up and make some new contacts.

We are working on our 4th flip and have a lot to divide and build 2 homes on currently. I have learned a little about a 1031 exchange and figured that would be a good fit for our business.

However I recently talked with a more experienced investor/rehabber and he said that I couldn't do a 1031 exchange if flipping was my primary source of income. Which it currently is not.

Any insight would be helpful!

Am curious if a 1031 exchange is an option for flipping. I had another investor tell me no. I know you have I think 60 or 90 days to find another deal to roll the money into. But also not sure if you are able to keep any of the profits or do you roll the entire amount from one to another?

Hahaha!!! I like your thinking, but no, all of that is too offensive here in Eugene!

Im thinking on the next project simply safe and a camera system.

Congrats on the milestone! It feels great to hit a goal like that I'm sure!

@Joe Splitrock

I would never screw anyone. I have owned a business for 13 years. I know plenty about customer service. We werd looking for options. Got it all worked out. My realtor helped with paperwork and we are hooking him up!
