Considering house hacking a Quad with an FHA loan. The purchase price is $325k and rents from 3 tenants will be approx. 2500/month and will jump to about 3600 with all 4 units rented out. The water meter is not currently spilt so unless i split them I would be taking on the water. Also needs about 25k in repairs initially from hurricane damage. Would you considering this a buy or no???

Hey, did you ever split the meters? If so, how did it go and how did your tenants respond to it?

Warb, I'm a Independent Mortgage Broker and a Mobile native also investing in the city from my current home in Houston.  I'll send you a colleague request shortly!

What part of Mobile are you investing in? I am also a Mobile native myself, currently living in Atlanta.

Mark, I am living in Atlanta but originally from Mobile, and may be moving back there soon. Looking to get my first property in the city here pretty soon as well. Have you done any more deals since your original post?

@Kelly Claiborne for me it’s money and finding lenders. I have about 15k saved, so I’m just trying to figure out how to go about getting my first deal done.
