@Lamontis Gardner Did you you try RentRedi or Avail? Which did you like better? What about them did you like? What di you not like? I am trying to decide between those two platforms.

Thanks.

Mark

For right now I’m going with RentRedi. The reason is that it seems to be slightly more convenient and has an app. Had more options for Tenants to pay as well. I love the built in lease with avail, but as a BP Pro member I got a free lease so rent redi seems to be better for me at the moment.

I used Rentredi when I was self managing and found it easy to use. Additional bonus is that if you are a BiggerPockets Pro member you get Rentredi free!

What all sites were you able to list with? Was it fairly easy to list rentals with zillow?

@Brooke Noth it's taxed separately, but I thought since it was two units under 1 roof that I could get 1 loan for a house hack. But now i'm thinking it may not be a good investment.

@Steven Foster Wilson Yes, I agree. I'm thinking I may need to walk away from it.

So I planned to house hack what I thought was a duplex, but turns out that the units are listed as townhomes because both units have a different street numbers. Now the lenders are saying I would have to get two loans (1 as a primary and one as an investment property). Is there any way I can structure this deal that will minimize a 20% down payment on 1 unit or is this something I should maybe walk away from and find a true multifamily property?

Trying to decide on a PM software? What are your experiences with each of these and what’s your favorite thing about the one you’re using?
