I paid 120k and have lived in it for 4 years. It is now worth 130-140. i plan on renting for the long term and transfer (im in the military) this summer and looking to buy a duplex. What advisors do i need in my arsenal? CPA? Accountant? any more?

okay, yes it is financed through a VA loan. When i move i should be purchasing a duplex. Should i go to the city and see what i need to do to turn it into a rental?

Good evening, I am currently in the military looking to transfer to somewhere between boston and portland. I am looking for areas that i should buy a duplex under $250,000 here are my areas of interest: Durham to rochester south berwick ME Saco/Biddeford ME lewiston auburn augusta maine haverhill ma please let me know what you think and if there are more areas i should be looking at!

Anyone have any insight on buying rental property in the L/A area. Duplex prices look good but are the rents good? What would be better an Air BNB lake rental or duplex? Any insight would be great!!
