@Jered Sturm Agreed. Congratulations and thank you for sharing because it inspires us all to make decisions that provides room for greatness. Sometimes, our environments (friends, relatives, circle of influence) do not encourage success. It's strange because if I or anyone of us does well, we are in a better position to give back to those who gave to us.

Haha...I must admit, I have been looking at the AZ market to invest in a buy and hold situation, but just tire-kicking/window shopping for now until early 2015.

Not planning a move to the AZ, but I did want to give you guys kudos for thinking of a way to build deeper relationships with other investors. I am learning that hard work and relationships with like-minded people. Awesome!

I found a lot of helpful tips in the Podcasts and also the Forum discussions. I highly recommend downloading the free book here on BP Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Investing. It's an easy read, and it's a good springboard to help you focus on your desired investment strategy. I also found it really helpful to join a couple of REI groups in my area so I can meet more seasoned investors. Best wishes!
