Hello BP Friends

I am in need of a CPA located in the Greenville, SC area. I have my business entity up and running, however I have had a difficult time finding a CPA which specializes, or even has a fair amount of experience working with real estate investors.  If any of you feel comfortable sharing the name of someone you would recommend I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much and happy Monday!

Hello Arn and Welcome!

I love it here in Greenville too and I'm also interested in buy and hold investments. Perhaps we could meet up sometime. I just closed yesterday on a SFR near downtown and that is where I live and focus on. Glad you enjoy it here and talk soon!

Thank you you all, I've been wondering the same about pulling cash out of a rehab property. I have my first buy and hold under contract and it definitely needs some love before renting, and I was growing concerned about all of my capital being held for 6-12 months. Much appreciated!

Post: Anyone use a Home Depot or Lowes Commercial Credit Card

Consumer card - allows you to get 6 months (or more) no interest on any purchase above $299. Lowes give a choice of this or 5% off. The interest rate is that of loan shark.

Commercial card - allows you to get 5% off but there isn't any special financing.

Home Equity loan - this is really just a personal loan. You can buy what ever you want for 6 months with out interest but after 6 months it rolls into a loan payment and the account can no longer be used for purchases. They advertise a 7.99% interest rate but out of 1000 applications I had seen ZERO get that rate.

The consumer and home cannot be opened in a business name.

I have used the consumer card on several flips because by the time the house is sold the bills are coming due. I get $30k interest free for 6 months. You can't beat that!

Thank you all for the input. I've had the HD card for renos in the past and wanted open one in my LLC, but maybe it's just better to keep in my personal name. My goal is to receive the 0% at this point. Thank you all for the great info!
