Where can I find the monthly rent of recently rented homes in my area? We are looking at @ properties but I want to see the comps in the area. Thank You!!!

Hello.. from TN. My husband and I have been thinking about BRRR's in the Dayton area. How is the rental market up there right now? I have family right outside of Dayton (in Moraine) ..So I grew up going there and have always loved the area. Just wanting some advice as to areas to look I and areas to stay away from. My family does NOTHING with Real Estate. They think we're crazy for doing it... but when I see home prices up there I think.. "Y'all are crazy NOT to be buying homes!!!" We live about 15 miles outside of Nashville.. and y'all all know about our market here. We have our primary residence and 2 rentals here. Thanks for the advice!!

@Cullum Stirling yes.. at this point it is.

First post in BP!!!! We are so happy we found this resource!!!! BACK-STORY- We own a house and 5 acres right outside Nashville (our home- with a mortgage). I am an only child. We recently bought the home and 6 acres next to us for my aging parents. Their old house is in my name. We are using the old house as rental property. Our rental home is mortgage free. The income from the rental home is paying for the new property next door. What is the best way to use the equity from the rental to buy our next property? We have about $30k in savings. We would like to hold on to that if possible. Please advise us on what to do. We are VERY NEW to this. We eventually want to buy a multi-family property (or multiple). Should we do a HELOC on the rental property? Please adivse.
