Hello,

I am new to real estate investing but have been designing large multifamily properties for 15 years. Looking for mentorship, advice, and partners on a small multifamily property to buy for cash flow and hold strategy. Ideally in the DFW market.

That's cool! I'd love to connect and hear more about your background. I am a local Realtor that works with investors. I know the area, the market and I love to crunch numbers. Let me know if I can be of assistance.

I already have a broker I am working with for my journey but always looking for brokers for my commercial business. I office in Fort Worth. Do you do commercial?

I do! Commercial and investing are my jam! I love numbers. But I'd love to hear more about you designing MF... Do you post any of this on social media?

"Hey Shoaib,

I'm also new to investing, and I can see you’ve got some solid skills. I live about two hours from Dallas and agree with Kristin about attending meetups—there are far more opportunities in DFW compared to where I am, which is why I make the trip there for events.

I’d also suggest finding a good, investor-friendly real estate agent. They can often recommend key team members like contractors, broker, and property managers. If you're interested, I can send you some Facebook groups that host meetups in the DFW area. In fact, Pace Morby is coming to Grapevine on the 9th at the Gaylord, and that should be a great event to network.

Just my two cents. I hope this helps!

@Deandre Brown Oh wow! Pace is coming on the 9th of October?! I'll have to look into this! Thanks for the info!

Hey Shoaib! Having a crew is definitely the right thought process. I would definitely beware of contractors on FB... while most are legitimate and do quality work, others are not and many are scammers.

Are you wanting to build or rehab? Either way, it's important to have a team by your side as you do this. There are several REI Meetups in the DFW area, I would suggest to start networking there. I meet most of my contractors through networking. Always remember, the cheapest is not always the best! But, I'm sure you already knew that. :)

Reach out if you have any questions.

Has anyone purchased a property from New Western? If so, how was the experience? Did you feel like their comps were relatively accurate?

So many great responses here! Hopefully you got your question answered! :)

There are more reputable people and companies to work with... Personally, I stay away from them!

I agree with @Bruce Lynn on this one. DFW has so many different areas and neighborhoods, all of them are unique.

Let me know if you need any assistance with selecting an area. I love talking about the DFW Market.

Good luck!
