I appreciate all of the input. Being new to the game, I wasn't sure about the benefit of coaching. There is a ton of information out there already. I have read multiple books and listened to hundreds of podcasts, but until you finally take action and get a property under your own management, there is a sense of unease because you don't know what you don't know.

It makes a lot of sense what you said Jonathan, it's too early for the coach, learn and implement the fundamentals. Learn by doing and see a coach when I feel ready to move to the next level and expand/refine my processes.

Hello BiggerPockets team,

I recently signed up for the Pro membership, intent on taking my first steps into this real estate adventure. I attended a local REIA webinar in OKC and a few of the panel members spoke about the importance of coaches to help guide and set up systems. They also mentioned that they were themselves coaches. My question for you all is, what would you expect to pay for and get out of a coach? I have reached out to be put on their calendar for a meeting, but wanted to know if you all had any advice as to what I should be looking for or questions I should ask these investors.
