We've mostly focused on southwest city so far since it's convenient to where we live.  We aren't necessarily stuck on that, just made the most sense so far.  The current project is in South Hampton/St. Louis Hills area.  We're going to have to branch out to grow like we want to in the future.

  You're definitely right about the good properties going quick.  Lots of people already in and getting started in business in St. Louis.  Finding good deals in the the right areas of the city is the hard part for sure.  Like you said, you have to be able to move fast.  Working out set in stone criteria and formulas is one of the things that I need to focus on.  Up to this point, we were taking a slower approach and being picky about what we wanted, not just the numbers.

My name is Kory Hannah and my girlfriend/partner Amie Hull and I are just getting started in the real estate world of St. Louis Missouri. We bought and rehabbed our primary residence a few years ago, did one complete flip and are currently working on the rehab of our second one. So far we have done a lot of the work on the houses ourselves while both having full time jobs but now we're interested speeding our process up and growing this into a successful business. Amie is making the move to sell real estate full time at the beginning of the year and I would like to build the business into something that I could focus on full time as well. We're looking forward to everything that we can learn from this community growing our portfolio with both rentals and fix and flip properties.  We have just gotten started listening to the podcasts and are really impressed with the amount of advice and information that is available.
