I would start by attending some real estate conferences for education in Las Vegas since you live there so no travel expenses.  I am guessing there must be a conference every month.  I will be there next month myself for a Note conference.

Christina Suter runs a meetup in Pasadena, close to Glendale, and the next one is Thursday July 16.  It is well attended and good networking and speakers.
