@Carl Hebert Hi Carl I will definitely take a look at each of those areas. I just really liked the vibe naples has given. Thank you so much for keeping me in the loop though

@Brian Camey Hi Brian would love to connect. I have only seen videos, YouTube and Google./Zillow haha. I am sure I would like to invest down the road but my main goal was to have a nice spot for my family.

Hi Guys ,

I have been doing some digging and have really fell in love from a far with Naples Florida. I would love to hear or meet agents , Investors or anyone who lives out that way that could give me some pointers / living experience. As mentioned in my other posts I will be selling all of my properties here in Canada to buy something out that way. I have always wanted to buy in Florida and I am now finally in a position where I can make this dream come true. (Who would of thought) lol

Anyways would love to chat. And pick some brains. Have a good Sunday bigger pockets family !

Hi All,

I have made a post a few days back asking what the best strategy would be as a Canadian wanting to buy in Florida. I would love to connect with local investors / agents and possibly get a lay of the land.

My wife and I are looking in the Cape Coral area. As mentioned before I have a few properties that I am looking to sell off and buy something out that way.

Hi Bigger pockets Family.

My wife and I have been planning on moving our things over to Florida as we both can work from home and work from any where. We are also pretty terrified of the lock down that has been implemented in Ontario. We Have 2 properties and in the middle of a flip right now. Both of our rentals we have 330k left and we could easily get 550k (on the safe lower end side ) because the market is very hot. The flip we are also in the middle of we purchased for 375 and put 65k into it. Our real estate agent believes we can make 600+ on the flip.

I feel like we need a life again instead of locked in our house. I know they say it will be a month but they said that last year and they keep shutting down business after business.

Would love to hear anyone with Florida knowledge on where the nicer parts are for a family. Would also know the best steps to take on moving forward with this plan. Terrifying but also thrilling because we are in a decent situation.

@Cody Barna Thank you. I agree with both of you with the house hacking. My wife just really loves our own space with the kids lol. I will have to bite the bullet on this one. I am hoping to have 5 - 6 Doors by the end of next year. I am also in talks with a couple friends on flips as well. I have been trying to game plan my escape for years and I truly feel Investing is my best bet.

@Whitney Hutten Yes I have thought about doing it but My WIFE is not on board with it. As we have 2 small children. Especially a baby girl who is up crying at night lol. We are currently renting right now and using the cash we have to sink it into properties. Thank you I am trying to work my way up slowly but I would like to at least hit an RBI or Home run one of these days haha.

I am hoping after we close this house in December we can fix it up and rent it out and move on to the next project.

Thanks brother, I am going to stick with this and set my self up a little bit better before making the leap.
