You would have to talk to her but perhaps she is on!y wanting the 4.74% on her money since her brokerage account is probably less than 1%.

My tablet is able to scan in a document, etc taken as a photo.

A signed statement from a roofing contractor (with their letterhead), with photos, may prove helpful.

@David Ocon, how are you able to get financing on so many in 1yr?  I just put an offer on one & will be awaiting the banks decision on a commercial loan.  We've done other business with him before but this idea is new to him.  We shot some numbers over to him so we'll see.

I've been thinking in my off season that temporary housing for people on a short term gig/consulting job would be good to advertise to.  Also, I'm planning on marketing to Realtors for people between housing when they are buying/selling (during my off season)!

Mark, if you outfit it yourself, it perhaps would cost between $15000 to $35000 depending on the fit and finish.  Also, I've heard some people use a personal shopper together with your input, may do it cheaper than an interior designer.

Great info from Mary.  If you find it belongs to a local bank you have a chance, if elsewhere, it could stay like it is for another 1/2 year to 2yrs.  I've kept my eye here on a few properties over the yrs, then I drive by and they are gone(scrapped right off), a contractor is working on it for a bank, or finally a Realtors sign.  You just never know.  Shadow inventor is a real thing.
