Hi Jill. I've lived here forever, but otherwise I'm in the same boat. Welcome!

Thanks everyone.

@Wayne Woodson In the short-term, I am looking to get my feet wet and would be very content to take my time, learn to do things correctly (minimize my risk), and enjoy whatever passive income that comes along with it. In the medium-to-long term, I am looking for active income, both short and long-term wealth. I am currently a social worker and a musician (make somewhere between $50-70k), so ultimately it wouldn't take THAT much money to replace that income, but I have no expectation that this process will take place overnight. Anyway, I appreciate your interest and am open to guidance from wherever I can get it.

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for a little while and just finished the Ultimate Beginner's Guide and figured I better jump in. Basically, my experience is owning my own home for about 8 years, and other than that, I'm just tired of working for the man and excited (and very nervous) to get out of my comfort zone and make a go of it in real estate. At this time, I'm generally considering buying and holding SFHs and MFHs, but I'm open to learn about anything. Anyway, I look forward to taking advantage of all this community has to offer. Thanks everyone!
