I have a rental property in Indianapolis. Our tenant bought a home(unbeknownst) to me and moved out of our home with no warning with 6 months left on the lease. My property manager said it’s not worth going after the tenant for unpaid rent, but any suggestions here? I was considering putting a lien on their new property? Any advice?

Thanks.  If planning to use in a tax situation, conservative seems better.  dont you think?

@Joe Villeneuve joe, not following, what difference does what make.  There are a lot of nuggets in that article what are you referring to?

I agree it’s always about the deal.  That said there are always underlying factors that make markets or environments better than other times.  Just looking for group think on that.  Appreciate the productive response

do you have to generally show w2 income on a cash out refi?

does anyone have any suggestions as to what banks will work with investors on portfolio loans, loans based on the value of the deal, or lending based on total assets.  thanks in advance!!
