Hello,

My wife and I are looking to purchase our first investment property. At this time, we're interested in single family homes to buy and hold. We've been poking around Fayetteville, NC and Cabot, AR. Any advice about these areas? Any ideas on other areas we could be looking at that will achieve a price point around $100K - $125K for a SFH in decent/stable neighborhoods with healthy rent rates?

Also, for those in the Fayetteville/Cabot area -- any suggestions on local professionals (property managers, real estate agents, etc)?

Hey Biggerpockets, I'm looking for a few recommendations and references for a property management company and a GC in the Cabot, AR area! Any help is much appreciated, and I'll owe someone a lunch or maybe 10 if they have a great GC to share!

@John Powell , that really helps me out thank you. Being prior military, these areas are always something I'm interested in. Going to have to do some research on those bases. Is there a good amount of on-base housing, or do the majority rent off-base from your experience?  

@Andrew Johnson , any reason why you steer clear of those areas? 

Interested in buy and hold properties for our personal portfolio North of the 630.

• B class Properties
• SFH
• Needs Renovation is Fine
• Will consider value add MFH as well. 
• Partial to well-maintained 1960-70's brick homes in need of light renovations 

We are looking to establish long-term relationships with local professionals in the industry. We can help with marketing and other aspects of this industry, but need the "boots on the ground" help!
