Hi! I purchased my first out of state rental property (Knoxville, TN) and am managing it myself.  I want to have tenants fill out an on line application, they pay for background check, etc. I watched a video on BP going over the RentRedi software.  Asking everyone for feedback on the program vs other programs out there.  

Hi.  Have you ever tried using the software programs that Bigger Pockets have partnered with? Such as RentRedi or the pre screening software?

Hi everyone.  I recently bought a rental property and I need to replace the range oven.  Question, is it better to by a flat surface top or one that has heating coils instead? Aesthetically the flat top looks better, ONLY if the tenant takes care of it. Thoughts? 

@Greg H.How did you build your contacts when you are not living in the same state as your property?  Did you have friends in the area?
