Post: Is this Shed going to be a Liability

My husband and I bought our first rental property. We are putting a lot of  work into it mostly on the inside.  I am concerted about this shed in the back next to the deck - I see a future liability.  See photos.  Should we remove this

shed prior to leasing the property.

@Corey Morris - Wow, I have been talking to cabin rental companies and of course they are not telling me that.  I have a feeling, after looking for the past month or so that the Blue Ridge/Cherry log area is saturated with rental cabins.

@Ethan Atkinson - Thank you for that information about Blue Ridge being a dry county.  We have visited both locations several times and they are vastly different and cater to different people/activities.  From the visits and research it seems as though Helen/Sautee area are more of a tourist destination and rents seem higher.  I prefer the laid back feel of Blue Ridge, but it is an investment and it appears there is less profit there.

We are looking to purchase our first vacation rental and are looking at two areas in North Georgia.  Helen and Blue Ridge.  Anyone familiar with these areas and any advice.  Ultimately we would want to get multiples in the area we choose.  From what research I have done it appears that rents are higher around Helen.

@Nayt Grochowski can you send me the spreadsheet you are using.  I am purchasing my first vacation rental in the next few months and this would be very helpful comparing properties.  Thank you!
