Hello Guangli Hu I am new to BP and looking to start my real estate investing journey. I am also interested in multi-family homes. Looking to buy & hold. Looking to connect and gain as much knowledge from you & fellow BP members !
Darren Sager Thank You for the advice. Will definitely begin to look for homes that would benefit me in the long run !
Jon Goehring Very true. I've been noticing the prices going up. Hoping to find a good deal in the area that would best benefit it !
Darren Sager Thank You for the advice. What locations do you consider are a good starting point ? Or is it just basically based on the deal ? I also know that a good way to start in the real estate business is having a investor as a partner. So my question is would a investor benefit from someone like me looking to mainly buy and hold properties?

@Bernard Reisz Thank you for the tip. I will definitely keep in touch in the future when in need of help.

@Dmitriy Fomichenko Thank you for your recommendations on helping me on my Real Estate Journey. I will definitely be in contact when I have question's !

@Darren Sager What I am looking to achieve is buying a multi-family home in which I'll be living in and also renting out. Mainly looking in the Newark, Bloomfield, Belleville & surrounding areas. Basically a deal that would benefit me in the long run with income.

My name is Kevin & I am just getting interested into real estate investing & will be mainly be focusing/targeting multi-family home's to buy & hold in the Essex County Area. God willing in the future expanding into Passaic & Union County. I am brand new to this type of ball game. I have read my share of books & also spoken to current investors. Here to gain as much knowledge as possible from everyone. Like I stated earlier I am interested in buying my first multi-family home. Looking to live in/rent using a FHA Finance. Would love to hear advice from the BP community on their thoughts on what would be a good deal on first home. Also in regards to picking an attorney/contractor in the North Jersey (Essex County) area to assist with the process. Would greatly appreciate any advice from the BP Community!!!!
