I was wondering if there was a welcoming committee here & it appears to be you! Thanks for the welcome!

Bryan--Amazing the risks people take with their business.

Jon--I agree; I hope she doesn't truly have a mentor that would advise her like that.

Here is an example of how NOT to seek syndication investors:

Last week, a contact of mine on FaceBook put in her status message to 1000's of contacts that she was looking for investors with a min investment of $100,000. Accredited investors only, etc. I asked her if this was a public offering. She said it was not. I told her that she might want to run her "ad" past her mentor (whom she had referred to several times before, but was unwilling to disclose their name to me) and/or legal counsel, as my syndication legal advisor would not have allowed a public posting like that. I told her that I was trying to prevent her from having problems with the SEC. She then proceeds to tell me that her mentor advised her not to have further contact with me. Call you believe that? Amazing!

Hello everyone!

A colleague of mine from Bullseye Capital Real Property Opportunity Fund told me this was the place to network. We are a private equity fund that engages in vulture investing of distressed commercial real estate nationwide.

I'll be completing my profile, as time allows and look forward to networking and seeing how we can help each other achieve our objectives! Feel free to introduce yourself!
