From my experience, partnering with RE agents is the way to go

You pull your list, and anyone you cannot help... position the RE agent you're working with as the go-to.

Then, anytime your RE agent cant help a client, they'll send that lead to you. its a two way street that benefits both parties

This is absolutely phenomenal advice. Couldn't agree more with the things being said.

REI is a transactional business and a people business, which means your people skills(communication skills) is the most valuable.

I have less than 10 people on my buyers list because all of them understand that I will prioritize them with properties and deals, while they give me reasonable offers where we both win. 

Learn to communicate effectively and you'll win in REI, only a matter of time, not a matter of if.

What's the goal here with direct mail?
Usually for us... direct mail is a last resort because the conversion rate

We like to txt and call with sellers/buyers and if its a deal of a lifetime(assuming seller doesn't answer phone), then we would do direct mail.
