Post: How do Investors look at Solar

Hey guys I recently started a solar company here in Phx. I have rental properties and am flipping as well. I know solar for rentals doesnt make a whole lot of sense but i am curious  how investors feel about solar panels on commercial properties? Storage facilties, land, commercial space, etc. Can you write it off as a deduction? Has anyone done it and be able to provide feedback?

Hey Joe, I appreciate that insight. On the rental side of things can you still bill the tenants for their electricity use even if the solar panels are cutting down on what cost you have? I guess essentially could they pay down the solar panels with their electricity payments?

Curious to see if any investors have solar panels on their rentals, or flips? And do you feel like it’s been worth it?

Hi Lara. Thank you! Total Rehab time was about 10 weeks. Renters moved in on the 13th. Next I have a Flip currently going on and Essentially will be using that money to buy another BRRRR property.

Hello everybody I am looking for a HELOC on my primary to scale my portfolio. I am recently transitioning to a W-2 to a commission job so it most likely has to be no income verification. Has anyone had any success with this. I have good credit and the only debt is my primary mortgage. Based in Az but have properties in Indy.
