@Caleb Heimsoth I have three rental properties total. I have four homes total, but I am living in the fourth. With in the next year I hope to turn my fourth home in to a rental. I just purchased all four in the span of three years, but have been a landlord for almost two years. We haven’t had any major issues so far except our very first tenant had a leaky pipe that caused mold in a section of the drywall. I’ve been managing the properties my self with no issues, but then again I will be out of state.
@Joe Hines what are your average costs for a three to four bedroom house?
@Kenny Dahill Class B tenants. They are starter family homes. Most tenants are looking for a good public school for their children while being able to commute to a blue collar job.
I have a few rental properties in the Denver area. They are all single family homes. I am planning on moving to the west coast, but not really sure how I should manage my properties in Denver. I am not opposed to a third party company coming to manage them for me, but I want to be as frugal as I can because this is the end of my second year of being a landlord. I’m still new and learning, but I need to go west to take care of my elderly parents. Any advice/suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
