Post: New Investor in Denver

Hello BP my name is Keven Pare, I was born in Quebec, Canada and grew up in sunny South Florida. For the last 2 years I've been living the dream in Vail, CO enjoying one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived in. Since I prematurely left college I've been trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I soon realized in order for me to start ACTUALLY living "the dream" I had to start doing something other than working a 9-5.  That's when I really got interested in Real Estate in general. Then, I found out how many strategies there were to build wealth through actually investing in Real Estate and I've been hooked ever since. Now, I haven't yet actually completed a deal yet but I will very soon. I am interested in pretty much every single aspect of Real Estate and I am still trying to figure out what exactly and how I want to start. I look forward to getting more involved in the BP community. Cheers!

Post: Looking for a Realtor to add to Power Team!

Hello BP family! I am an investor looking to build a strong power team in the incredibly hot market of Denver, CO. I'm interested in finding a good realtor to work with who knows the area pretty well and has an open mind to new strategies. It would be beneficial to both me and the realtor, but not necessary, for the realtor to have worked with investors in the past or is currently an investor themselves. I'd appreciate any recommendations and look forward to hearing from you all! Thanks in advance!

Yes Horse Mountain Ranch has definitely been on my radar for over a year now. That area is tricky @Ryan K., I feel like a plot there would either be a gold mine or a bust. What do you think?

Yeah @Ryan K. we were looking primarily in the Eagle Ranch area or possibly even Cordillera. So do you happen to know if there's a Sq. Ft. minimum for building in Eagle Ranch? I'm assuming the lots are at a fairly low price, considering the area, because of all the HOA fees, design review board, etc.?

@Dann Coffey that sounds great. Unfortunately I'm currently out of town until about the 10th of June or so. But, I'd love to meet with you sometime when I am back in town. When would be a good time for you to meet?

So my friend and I are sick and tired of paying ridiculous rent in beautiful Vail, Colorado. We absolutely love living here and we both know this is where we would like to live for quite sometime. We can't afford to buy a house or condo already built but we can and are planning to buy a half acre to acre lot to build a home on in Eagle, CO not too far away. Is anyone familiar with the area? Do you think this would be a good move?
