So if its registering your rental property I'm sure this has already been done already. In that case all that needs to be done is license transferred to me the new owner. Does that sound right?

yes according to Florida law any multi family building that has more than five units is required to have a public lodging license. See below link

I'm closing on an eight plex multi family home and I was planning to manage the property myself but im finding out that I need a liscence to do so. Is this true and if so do I need this before closing?
