Hey Biggerpockets. I am in the Multi-family game but really new. I have made a post earlier in the week and a lot of good feedback from it. I am looking to educate myself very well before buying apartments and i need deals to take a look at and analyze. I am wondering how do brokers feel about sending deals to new investors? Are there any brokers here that don't mind sending me deals? if so, i would love to connect. Thanks

very good point @Todd Dexheimer I certainly don’t plan on letting the deal find the money. I will be using a sample deal to raise money and in the mean time network to build my team. Thank you for your input

@Oleg Shalumov I agree! I’m educating myself about the industry for sure. I really like your idea about that sample deal. I’ll be implementing that for sure!

@Brian Metz Hey Brian, i apprieciate your reply and i do agree. Currently i am gaining knowledge so that i can be in a great position whenever the opportunity strikes. Was that 6unit apartment your first deal? if so, did you finance it yourself or did you raise capital for it?

Thanks in advance,

Kenny

Why are people so against starting out investing in multi-family apartments? I new in the investing field and dont have enough money to buy my own deal but i figure that if i can find a  great deal, then i can raise money to fund that deal. do you all agree?

Hey guys I am trying to find a cheap website to buy good quality bandit signs. If you guys know of any please drop it below. And also what is a good price to buy 100 signs? The first pack that I bought was about $260. Is that a lot? I want to know what a good price is so I can factor it into my marketing budget. Thank you in advance.

I started marketing in Gaithersburg and some in college park. Have gotten a couple responses but they weren’t good leads. Looking into expanding my market and putting up more signs in the following weeks.

Thank you guys. Once I read this a couple days ago, I immediately started marketing in PG. that’s definitely the market that I will be focusing on moving forward.
