I’m currently looking for an off-market apartment property (100+ units) in a busy urban area in the state of Texas and wanted to ask for your insights.

Could you share your strategies for finding such deals? Are cold calling or broker relationships more effective? Any tips or scripts for reaching out to owners would also be helpful.

I’d love to connect and learn more about your approach. Please let me know if you’d be open to a quick chat

How does new western find their off market properties?

I’ve join a brokerage not too long ago and learned how to cold call. The problem for me is that it is pure cold calling. The lead gen just has their number, no info about the properties nor their names.

So I wanted to ask how do new western agents and other people find off market residential/commercial. I’ve been dabbling into d4d and direct mails, but I’d like some advice if you guys use other methods or even softwares like propstream

Thank you

Hi there, I'm a current student at a local university. I've been learning from some books, biggerpockets, and youtube. About a month ago, I started working at a brokerage. While it's been an okay experience, I haven't felt like I'm gaining the knowledge I hoped for; if anything, it feels like I'm moving further away from it. I'm interested in exploring real estate investing and I'm considered attending meetups to learn and connect with people. My idea is to offer my skills, such as social media management, painting, or assisting with various menial tasks, in exchange for the opportunity to learn the trade. I'm open to accepting lower pay in return for valuable learning experiences. Would you say this approach could be effective?

Hello, so recently I’ve got interested in real estate especially fix & flip. How would someone go about starting it? As I learn from networking meetings, I would need to find a contractor that I trust and I’m also trying my RE license. Don’t know if that helps tho
