Post: Looking for work in Austin TX

Hey everyone,

My wife and I are moving to Austin in the next month and I am in search for employment. I am a new investor (one rental property in ATL, where I’m moving from), and am looking for work as I continue to learn more about real estate investing.

If you or anyone you know is looking to hire in any capacity please let me know, I am open to any opportunity and would cherish the chance to learn the industry under a more experienced investor.

Thanks in advance!

Real estate licensees (preferably in TX),

What is the process of taking an inactive license to active? Is it easy? I am studying for my real estate license but don’t plan to be a sales agent or work under a broker right away. I’m doing it for my own education and knowledge for now. However, if I did want to actively use my license in the future what would that look like?

Thanks for any info on this!

What advice would you offer for hiring contractors to help rehab my first distressed property? I’ve never done one before and am not sure where to start.

Thanks for any advice.

Hey BP, I am new to the platform and this is my first post.

I am going to be relocating to Austin Texas soon and am considering getting my real estate license in TX and wanted to ask for recommendations for online courses/programs that I should look into. There are so many options out there that I don't know where to start.

Thanks so much for any help!
