Thanks for the response Jake!

Hmm, that's a good question. We'd like to own rentals and I'm interested in wholesaling since I can generate leads. So I guess the question is how many we'd like to buy and what type of financing we're comfortable with.

As far as a team, I'm in a networking group and have access to all of the above. Do you recommend managing your own properties to begin with or starting with a property manager? I know either way we will want to make sure the deals are profitable even if we had a manager.

Cool, we are meeting with an REI friend next week so I'm sure he will give some great advice too. Thanks for your feedback!

After 3 years of obsessively listening to BP and creeping on all things RE related- my husband and I are eager to take action in 2019! We've got about $10k and potentially access to passive investors.

I also own an online marketing agency and can generate distressed seller leads.

What should our first step be? Wholesale, rentals, flips- not sure where to start!

Also curious, if I want to grow my marketing biz and help REIs generate leads- what would be the best way to contact REIs? Should I write yellow emails advertising my services ;) haha
