@Robert Johnson thanks man! I can keep you updated. I found a realtor that was having a gated community of four plexes being built and I got lucky to snag one of the last ones. They start construction this month and should be completed by August or September time frame so I'm excited to see the process.

@Joseph Ryan @Robert Johnson I have a new construction being built in the Weslaco area and I'm owner occupying but I'm thinking about using a property management company since I travel for work often. I appreciate the feed back on the area. I guess I need to start looking for a property management company then. I was going to test the area out with the first property before committing to a second property, but I might just go ahead and commit to the area.

I'm new to the McAllen area and I'm buying my first fourplex soon and another in December hopefully. How's the turn over rate with tenants?

I'm looking at possibly investing in the Hopkinsville, KY area and was wondering if anyone had any input on the market and area.

Looking for some information on what areas seem to have new construction quadplexes being built. The areas I've been looking at seem to be tapped out.

I'm looking for some current information on where to invest in Columbia, SC. And also interested in how the rental market is there as well.

I'm just looking for a mentor for commercial real estate investing. I just started to read up on it and doing my research to learn and find it very interesting.

I'm currently in the middle of buying my first quad plex but I want to go bigger. I'm interested in commercial retail, apartment complexes, or open to others.

Some questions, what's the best way to finance? What is the down payment percentage normally and are there ways to get the loan with a smaller or no down payment?

Any books or information you suggest to read I'll gladly look into as well.
