Maui is my favorite island! It's changed a lot since you grew up there with lots of new development, but, still awesome! Market is expensive as you can imagine. Median for SFR is now over $800K. We're talking small house, too! But, because of the strong ARV's, it's a solid market to buy the older plantation style homes and rehab them so they are turn-key. That's our bread and butter. But, buying multi-family holds don't pencil out in Hawaii so that's why we are looking at the mainland.
