Yes very clear

Maine a great state just hate the taxes. My daughter lives and is a realtor in the Waterville area I think she is up to around 15 house rentals now, we do not talk much but I am still very proud of her.

Thanks guys, the property in ME is now vacant and in the process of cleaning out. I had my parents renting it, now they are in nursing home. This is why I thought of selling this property and moving my investments to NH. How long can the 1031 used to defer or how long do I have to buy another property? for some reason 45 days is in my head.

Thanks Matt, as I lived in Maine for the past 25 years and recently moved to NH this past summer I find everything else besides property tax is less expensive. Also if I create a business to handle my properties in Maine, Maine will come after me for income tax as well. This is the reason I move to NH I work and own a business in NH and Maine was nailing me in income taxes. Just $ 88,000 in ME income taxes over the past few years could have been invested in properties.

hello,

I am new here and interested in rental investments. totally new and reading all kinds of information on the subject I have come up with a plan. I have a property that I own free and clear and I have been debating on renting or selling it. Now I am thinking I should sell it and use the money to leverage more than one rental property. The property I own is in Maine and I would like my properties in NH as well to avoid interstate taxes as. Does this sound like I am on the right track?

thanks
