I'm looking for a investor friendly tax professional familiar with short term rentals that has the time answer questions through out the year and give guidance, along with replacing my tax professional who just retired.

Hi Gregory, you’ve done a great job with your space and listing! We have a similar listing in our home for the last 4 years  and have found the private entrance was very important to our guests, so I would consider adding 5-6 pictures of the front door, your house, the parking space, etc. I would also consider offering a stay for just one night until you can get some reviews or a super host status. Guests really appreciate a one night stay. I’ll post our listing, just to give you an idea of the outside shots. As you can see, our pictures aren’t anything special, but we are surprisingly busy and just love the Airbnb business. Good luck! https://www.airbnb.com/h/peace...

@Matthew Komitsky we have just bought a house in Bryan, planning to Airbnb it. This will be our second Airbnb property, our home being our first, as we house hack it. We’d be glad to offer any help if that is something you are interested in.

We are renting a single family home. Just to get to the closing completion, we had to show them a signed lease (we agreed to lease back for a couple months to the seller), but we will have to conquer this problem when we start to AirBnb. How did you get the senior agent to understand you? Do you have a residential loan on your property? A side question: Are you currently AirBnbing any of your properties currently?

When listing your investment home as an Airbnb, are you using a residential homeowners policy or a commercial policy? We are in the process of getting a mortgage on a home we plan to Airbnb and the insurance company wants to insure it as a commercial and policy and the mortgage company will only accept it with a residential policy. I would appreciate your experience.

@Glenn Lee Hi Glenn I am in the area, as well. (Montgomery /Magnolia). We Airbnb out of our home and currently in the process of buying a home in Bryan to Airbnb that. We are also interested in doing more in this area, not necessarily Airbnb. I’m quite familiar with short term rentals and would be glad to share what I know and would love to learn from others about the rest of the world of real estate.
