Looking for a reliable contractor to help our brokerage manage our REO properties across the state of CT. Must be able to properly winterize and de-winterize properties, complete trash outs, complete ongoing lawn maintenance, complete rekeys, and more. There will be times when we come across properties that will need rehab prior to listing as well. Must be comfortable with receiving payment 30-60 Days after completion of the work order; these are REO properties.

I recently bought the book on rental property investing. I'm trying to download and open the file on my phone and it's not opening. It downloads but it won't open in any app that I have. Everything I try doesn't work and it is really really making me upset, I want to read this book really bad. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Can I not read it on my phone?

Stephen Joyner Thank you for the reply it really reinforced my idea. My strategy is to get homes that are already stripped and make everything Ada, I have a little knowledge of the requirements from being a union carpenter. As far as the person helping them out, I planned for that too. I have family and friends who are CNA's who are willing to come into business with me and take care of the residents while I take care of the property management. The questions that I have about that is what do I charge for rent? What did your mom charge and to anyone else who is reading this what do you see in your areas?
@MichaelNoto Thanks for the reply I'm actually looking for a mentor to help me get my feet wet if you have the need for a motivated and hard working apprentice I'm down for anything and everything. I'm in the process of getting my real estate license now, just studying to pass the state exam. My LinkedIn account has more info about me and who I am. https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=351517435

I'm a new investor thinking about getting into handicapped rental units in single family and multi family homes, the idea is to rent for more but is there really a demand? I live in Hartford, Connecticut and don't see many rentals like this. If you have any rentals like this or know of any all advice is welcome.
New investor looking to get into the rental and flipping market in Connecticut. Does anyone know of good places to start in? I live in the Hartford county an would really love to start doing some analysis of the markets.
