Hello all! Does anyone know of any banks willing to finance mortgages for <100k?

Thanks @Russell Brazil! I agree and thank you for the connection. I will try and connect with Upen Patel (though it looks like I can't @ him).

Hello all!

I'm super new to the community and want to purchase my first investment property. I live in DC and my purchase price will be <100K so that I can put down 20%. My only concern is my DTI. I recently got out of a legal issue and spent about $38K on an attorney. I paid half of that out of my own savings and the other half on credit cards. My DTI is hovering around 40%. Not sure if this will be attractive to a lender now that my savings are much lower and my credit card debt is higher. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

Thanks All! I'm excited to jump in. I've been listening to the podcasts on my long commutes and already I've learned so much.

Hello all. I'm super excited to be a part of BP! I'm a newbie to real estate investing, minus the single family home I purchased in 2012 and sold in 2015. I've always been interested in Real Estate investing and now feel its a viable option for me to generate income and one day do full time. I recently moved to Washington, DC and I'm looking to connect with BP peeps in the DMV. I want to start purchasing rental properties and connect with a Realtor/Real Estate Agent experienced in Real Estate Investing. Since I'm new to the game, I have a TON of questions and I look forward to leveraging everyone in BP's experience and tips.

Thanks all!
