 Hey Jeremy! Katie from Cozy here.

I wanted to let you know that we absolutely are not compiling people's expenses to sell later. Any information you put into Cozy is your information and we don't sell your information.

And just FYI, a PDF export is coming very soon!

@Igor L.

Hey Igor — Katie from Cozy here! Right now, tenants can send a payment in any amount they'd like — we don't have restrictions against partial payments.

@Michael Hibay
Hey Michael, Katie from Cozy here! What Nathan said is basically correct -- with our free ACH processing we wait for an ACH debit to clear (or fail!) before initiating a credit to a landlord. That way, we're not taking on any risk of a failed debit.

With our Express Payouts option, we initiate the credit after 1 business day. Like Nathan said, it does mean Cozy is taking on more risk.

I hope this helps clarify! Please let me know if you have any questions.

@Jason V.

Hey Jason! Katie from Cozy here. Would you mind shooting an email to our support team with some more details about your account so we can look into this? Most of us here use Chrome and we don't have any issues on our end, but would like to investigate!

@Jim Jones

Hey Jim -- Katie from Cozy here!

First off, thanks so much for the compliment! We appreciate it.

Second (and apologies in advance for being the bearer of bad news), but right now Cozy is built out specifically for US-based landlords and tenants, so you and your applicants might run into some trouble if anyone is trying to use addresses in the UK.

That said, other landlords have also requested a more customizable application too. It isn't on our immediate roadmap, but it's definitely something we'll think about later down the line.

Cheers!

Hey @Nathan W.,

Katie from Cozy here. Express Payouts is a premium feature ($2.99 per month per unit), but of course it's optional. If you'd rather not pay to expedite your payments, you can always use our free ACH option.

You're right that we don't offer customized applications right now, but it's definitely something we're interested in for the future.

Feel free to drop our support team an email if you have any other specific requests, too!

Hi @Kimberly H.,

Applicants can purchase both their credit report and background check for $39.99. Or, if they want to just buy one of the two reports, that'd cost $24.99 for one.

@Justin R. and @Kimberly H.

Hi there! We're excited you've been really enjoying using Cozy! I did want to clarify that while the Cozy application (including a renter profile with employment history and rental history) can be shared with as many Cozy landlords as the applicant would like, each screening report purchased can only be shared with one landlord/property manager.

We do know this adds up when applicants apply to several properties, but our credit report provider Experian limits each purchase to be shared with only one Experian-verified user to maintain the security of the applicant's sensitive financial information. If you have questions, feel free to give our support team a holler.

@Angela Nyborg

Hey Angela! Katie from Cozy here.

We don't offer a solution for applicants that don't want to apply through Cozy, but you could definitely still collect a paper application from them, and then only use Cozy to collect payments once you're ready to rent to a tenant.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you have questions!

@David Ferrette

Hey David! Katie from Cozy here. We don't offer that ability yet, but other property managers have requested it as well, and we're definitely interested in adding that type of feature sometime in the future.

If you have any other questions about Cozy, feel free to shoot our support team a message and we can go over how Cozy works or help you get set up.
