 Hi Mak. When I was working at Redfin, Associate Agents could earn a bonus for anyone you personally referred to a Redfin agent - buying or selling a house however, the Associate Agent wouldn't be listed as a co-agent on the sale of a house.

You can get good commission discounts at an Associate Agent using Redfin to buy/sell, but you don't get to conduct any of your own sales (for yourself or for referrals).

 Hey Yesenia! Yes I did work for Redfin as an Associate Agent for 2 years. The pay was decent - It wasn't my only job that I worked when I was with Redfin. Feel free to take a look at the article I wrote on my blog about my experience as an Associate Agent. The link is in a comment above.

Hey everyone, I've gotten sooo many direct messages with questions about working as a Redfin Associate Agent. I actually don't work as one any more, and recently left to pursue other things! BUT I wrote an extensive article on my experience as a Redfin Associate Agent based off of the hundreds of questions I've received in my DMs. I hope you all find it helpful as you decide whether or not to work as an associate agent for Redfin. Feel free to message me with any other questions though =]

I was using lendingHome since covid hit but they really put everyone through the ringer and usually declines the deal way down the road the the process which can be a month. I don't want to experience the same thing with LendingOne, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 I would also like to know if anyone has been working with LendingOne recently.

Hi @Sharee Mitchell

Yes, there is an opportunity to get a referral for that!

They don't allow you to conduct real estate transactions.

Redfin hires AAs as independent contractors to help with showings, inspections, open houses, and other tasks.

Hey Brigitte,

I started out as an AA while working a full-time job and only doing showings and open houses on the evenings/weekends. While doing that, I was making probably $400 to $900 every 2 weeks. Again, it depends on your market and what they are paying AAs. When I was going through the application process, they sent me the pay schedule for my area so that I knew what to expect. I'm sure they would do the same for you.

I recently started working with them more full time because it is all contract work. So I get to determine my schedule now. It gives me the flexibility to do Redfin events while choosing when I spend time working on our investing as well as our blog.

@Aaron Bihl

I actually found out that the Airbnb side doesn't have a full kitchen. I think we're going to let this property pass because it doesn't have great long term potential.
