Jason is correct. Contact local Independent Agents. I checked our markets and over half would write a 4 Family Owner Occupied house on a homeowners form. I'm not sure how many of those companies write in CA so an instate Independent Agent can probably give you the options for your property.

Hi BP Community!

Looking for the right CPA to partner with that understands the motivations of a Real Estate Investor and the nuances of Public Company Stock options/awards. I am still currently working a W-2 full time, while investing with my partner on the side.

I have failed to find a CPA that is consultative or proactive and am looking for one that is. I shift for toward real estate being a primary strategy, I need to find a partner that can help me plan and file taxes with my stock awards craziness and also keep real estate in mind.

Grateful for any recommendations.
