If I’m looking for a real estate agent and I live in California and want to invest in Memphis. Is it better to get an agent based in California or one in Memphis. Might be a dumb question, I’m just starting out . Would love some advice!

Hello,

I am 19 years old and live in Glendale , CA. I’m trying to get my feet wet in real estate investing . I have been educating my self by reading and listening, however I feel as if I’m at a point where I need to get more “field work”. But at the same time not quite there with some aspects of investing like having a good team and I feel I need more credit history before I start asking banks for money . Therefore, If there is anyone that needs any small tasks to be done in or around my area like check out homes, ask neighbors a question, etc. I would gladly ( and for free) love to help out. It could be beneficial to you as-well as to me. Hope everyone is staying safe !

@Mike Mocek Hey Mike , I will for sure get to know the markets I’m interested in a lot better , and try getting contact with people that can help me scope the cities . Thanks a lot for the advice and would love to ask some questions as I get a better understanding of real estate investing.

@Jonathan Greene Thank you Jonathan, yes the more I read and listen the more I realize how valuable a team is In long distance or a “ core four” looks like I have to learn a bit more before I can hop right in into long distance investing . Appreciate the advice !
