I think B & C are the best options because you were quick to fix the problem and the property is ready to be occupied again with no issues. And as a sign of good faith, taking $100 off next month's rent is smart just as a way to say sorry for the inconvenience. But you did a great job and the tenant should be happy with your work.

Hey guys! I am a new real estate agent in the Orlando area. If you were hiring an agent to help you to find properties, as an investor, what questions would you make and what skills would you expect him/her to have so you can partner up with that agent? I have a rental property in this area, so I do understand the work, but I was my own agent on that deal, so I know my process will not be the same as others. Any input is greatly appreciated :)

Hi! That is awesome that you're thinking about investing in Real Estate in your teens. My advice would be to start low in terms of how much money you're going to invest with and learn through that experience with not much risk behind it. If you have the money for a multi-family property, it will give you a lot more upside, but it can also become a little complicated to manage your first try. If you start simple with single-family homes, not too pricey, going through the process of actually buying the property, going through escrow, the inspection, appraisal, finding good quality tenants, etc., it can be very rewarding in terms of obtaining all that knowledge and less risk financially. Once you built your confidence, then you can start looking for bigger projects. Hopefully this helps answer your question :)
