@Daniel Johnson how did you go about selling? I would have a lien on the property then have to subdivide and then get approval from the lender who has my mortgage wouldn’t I?

Has anyone ever bought a SFR that had some land with it and sold some of the land but kept the house? Have a great opp but not sure how to go about it. The land isn't buildable the neighbor just wants to buy an acre for extra privacy.

NEW INVESTOR QUESTION. So I purchased my first primary residence last November. My equity in the home has jumped a lot and I am thinking of doing a heloc to buy an investment property. I am stuck because should I fully renovate my house now and re finance and pull the equity out or just do a heloc and remodel and re finance the residence down the road? looking for advice if anyone has had to choose between the two instances.
