Harrison Helterbrand son would you then suggest I start doing flips in Lexington and hold in the nearby communities such as Versailles and Georgetown and even Cincinnati/nky?

I want to start off by saying this website has been exponentially helpful with any questions I have had and even questions I didn't know that I had. Thank you @Joshua Dorkin and @Brandon Turner for giving us this awesome resource. I have been following Brandon since 'Investing in your twenties'.

My situation is a little unique, as I have mentioned on a few posts before I am currently serving my last year of active duty service and am looking at a number of places to start investing next year.

My real estate investing strategy will ultimately be buy and hold, preferably mult-familys . I plan on doing flips as well as wholesaling to generate capitol to fund these investments.

Right now I am looking at local markets (I am from Kentucky). Some of the markets I am considering are Lexington, Covington/Cincinnati, Evansville, In. and Clarksville/Nashville TN. But I am open to exploring other options.

If you have any input on the matter I appreciate the support! Thank you again Biggerpockets family!

Welcome @Cappy Jones! I am looking to begin investing in Cincy as well. Probably won't be able to until next year however. Mostly because I am overseas until next summer!

Let me know how investing is in the area and how the REIA is as well!

Best of luck!

Brandon Turner Joshua Dorkin September would be an ideal time seeing how that's the only month I'll be in the states this year. Just saying.

I'm getting caught up on the BiggerPockets podcast and I was just curious what everyone's favorites and recommendations were. So far my favorites are episodes 37 and 55. Thanks for your feedback!

My name is Kameron Patterson. I am currently in the Navy. I have a year and a half left before I get out. Once I get out I am looking to invest in Multi-Family properties in Kentucky.

I am currently looking into buying properties near major Universities such as The University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Austin Peay University in Clarksville, Tennessee.

I am looking for a mentor to guide me in the right direction as far as buying properties, finding lenders, closing deals and everything else that comes with real estate investing.

If you are interested in coaching a young inspiring real estate investor please let me know. Thank you.
