Hello everyone. I just recently moved to Detroit and I'm a Realtor in the Detroit metro area and all the surrounding cities. I was hoping to find a mentor to guide me through investing and flipping houses. I'm currently reading the book on flipping houses, but it would be nice to have a mentor so I can understand the true ups and downs of investing. I'm ready to get this ball rolling so If you know of any good mentors please send them my way. Thank you.

I want to learn how to buy, fix and flip houses. I got my Real Estate license this year but I want to be able to do more and make more money on something that I feel more passionate about which is finding distressed homes and fixing them up to get a profit. My Broker tells me that I shouldn't flip because I should be finding sellers and buyers to list with but to me I want more than just that. I've been doing a lot of reading which is helping, but I think it would be nice to have a mentor also.

What are some inspirational books to read that will motivate me even more about investing and furthering my career in real estate. I've been told to READ READ READ but what should I be reading that will lead me in the right direction. Please feel free to drop some book recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.
