New to real estate investing. I am looking for an investor friendly real estate agent to work closely with. I also think it’s important to note that I will be investing long distance. Please feel free to reach out to me. I am open to anything. Thanks in advance.

My name is Kai James. I’m a young professional who just graduated college 2 years ago. I am a first time real estate investor,(at least that’s my goal) and I found a property that I am looking to purchase. I am connected with the owner directly and they are willing to do seller financing. But I have no idea what to do next. I feel like I’m stuck out of fear. Ive been watching BiggerPockets videos and listening to podcasts for the last 2 years because I know that I want to break into the real estate market. If anyone would be willing to give me some tips and pointers in order to get to the next step I would greatly appreciate it.

@Dave DeMarinis

Hi there Dave,

I’ve never heard of this form of financing  I have already started to do my research since reading your response. I think that this will be helpful thank you very much.

Also, I have not started in the deal flow or the execution areas yet. I didn’t think that I could move on to any of the next steps if I didn’t have any idea how I was going to get capital to get started.

Hi there Rose,

thank you very much for your response. It was very insightful. I think going to local meet ups with other investors will really help me. Again, I appreciate that you took the time to help.

Brenden, thank you so much for acknowledging my post. It can be kind of hard to get a response. I am currently trying to connect so that we can chat more. Thanks again.

A little about myself:

My name is Kai James. I’m a recent college graduate and I’m looking to start investing in real estate. I am an athlete playing basketball abroad and for about 9-10 months out of the year I have a relatively decent amount as my monthly salary from my employer. Overall I don’t have a W2 from this employer. Where should I start. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
