Hey everyone, I’m in the Seattle area and it seems like most of the meet ups are north of Seattle. Is there anyone out there that is currently hosting one on the south end around king county or would like to start a new one?

Hey sona, did you ever get this started? I am currently going through the process of getting licensed as an adult family home owner and there is a lot of guidelines to follow.

Hey Joseph, I’m not much help to your question since I think you Pretty much did hit them all. I am doing bedroom rentals also and am wondering do you know anyone that just hires someone to get leases signed and that’s all? I run the day to day but would like to not show rooms and stuff myself.

Erik Hatch, though it is a lot of work, to me this doesn't feel like a second job since It will be a way for me to get started in bigger properties and this is the best way I can contribute to the deal.

Thankyou for your insights! And your  daughter sounds like she has some prettt awesome stuff going on 👍

The size is still in the works but it will most likely be around 30-40 units and I would handle most everything onsite which would include rents and some owner issues. I would still have a full time job so this would be after work also.

Hey all, I have started off by investing in single family and work professionally on large multifamily and high-rise buildings professionally as an HVAC mechanic. As a way to get into multi family I am working on partnering for a small percentage of a median to large apartment building and will live onsite, manage tenants and fix/take care of all equipment and repairs that come up.

just wondering if there is anyone out there that has done this? or any insight on what percentage is fair?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Briana, I know this post is a little old but I am curious if you ever got your property management figured out?! I live in king county and am getting ready to self manage our property in Aberdeen, though I really don't mind it would be nice if there were a reliable place to use.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Svetlana, I know you posted this a few months back and I hope you have started investing by now but I live in Seattle area and primarily investing in grays harbor due to the price point. I feel small towns like this are great to invest in and have a lot of opportunity for starting out, most important thing is to buy good enough deals to have nice rentals that are still at a low enough price point.

hop this helps and id love to hear if you have found something in the area!

ps  I also know a good agent that works out there with investors

Post: HVAC company Vs HVAC Guy(Union Side Work?)

Hey john, I know this reply is late but I do the same HVAC work as your friend along with also being in the union full time. I do a ton of installs and if your friend does quality work the likely hood of a unit failing or having issues is very small. Out of countless installs I have had less than a handful of small call back issues that are easily resolved, this is of course all based on the character of the person.

I hope you got your HVAC needs met!
