Hello, all. Not to put my laundry out there but I recently got laid off. I'm trying to look at this as an opportunity to start learning and doing real estate in some niche of the industry but I don't know what to do or where to start. My ultimate goal is to flip and rehab homes eventually but right now I need to start somewhere. I have seriously considered starting my own property preservation business but have been discouraged by many saying it's a dying industry. I have enough saved to live off for awhile so if anybody has any guidance for a guy who wants to work his *** off to be financially independent in the Houston/ Corpus area, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello all, as somebody who works away from home most of the year. Is it feasable to start or run an RE business mostly remote? And if so, how would you go about doing it? Buying and renting out, fix and flip etc. I'm looking to replace my w2 income as fast as possible to leave my job. Just need some guidance. Would like to start in the Houston/ Corpus markets. Thanks.

@Justin Flowers hey, I love Corpus. Yeah that would be totally cool to meet up sometime when I'm off work. Really trying to leave this within 2 years with real estate investing but not sure which direction to go in :/

@Jeff Richardson just saw this reply. Ive looked into them a little bit. Can you give me an honest opinion of them and their system? And is rental property treating y'all well as an investment?

@Elliott Elkhoury lol I agree with you. If theres a job like that with no degree in the Houston area, let me know. Id rather do that all day than oil work

@Caleb Heimsoth it is. And the reason I took it is to get to my real estate goals faster. I dont plan on doing this longer than 3-5 years. Honestly its a sacrifice im willing to make for success and freedom later.
EDIT: I would like to mention that i am making around 90k this year with projection to make 120k next year
I'm working 112 hours a week, and gone 30-60 days at a time. I'm 22 with a good job but obviously I want to trade my job for financial freedom. I really want to get into multi family homes/ apartments for passive wealth but I have no experience and frankly no time. I pretty much could only be a silent partner. Does anybody have any suggestions as how to achieve my goal and is it feasible to do this in a 2-3 year time span? I'm idealistic and debt free. Thanks

Just curious as to how one transitions into real estate investing fulltime. What route people usually go (buying and renting out vs house flipping) if its possible to be a silent partner in real estate deals by just providing half the capital (due to working 112hr work week) if its really made y'all financially independent. Thanks
