Hello,

In Canada

Sold this triplex for a nice profit. Did my taxes and owe a lot of money.

IS there something similar in Canada to section 1031 ? I know of the section 44. But it's n/a . Let me know please ?

Thank you

@Jody Sperling thank your for the answer. This diploma gives direct access to be a registered evaluator in my province. But, I want to acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to be able to maximize efficiency and obtain a bachelor's which in itself is a great idea and a fall back 2nd option if things go sideways.

It's great to hear that education vs. Investment is a great option. I really like to hear stories of people who went to school and decided to use there knowledge in what they studied.

Looking forward to hear more stories. Also if someone has a bachelor's in a similar domain.

Thanks

Doing a bachelor's degree in administration, management and property evaluation. Wondering if high education is useful for long term property rental investment. Also, if someone has done something similar and if so how did this education make you better at finding good investments and maximizing profit.
