I have recently found a small duplex, I noticed on realtor.com that the taxes paid in 2015 were double all the previous years. Going from an assessment of 43k to 114k. Is there any public records that I could get a hold of to find out why the assessment almost tripled?

Also how reliable do yall think realtor.com is with this kind of information. The house also says it has been on the market for 4100 days. That's over 11 years with the last update 1910 days ago. That just seems like that is a typo or some kind of mistake.

Thank you for your time.
